Creating Music Together is proud to publish Frank Sheldon's new book documenting his approach to examining one's own experience. The book details what Frank calls “Reports” and “Keynotes,” gives specific instructions on how to practice, and explains why this practice might have value. Chapters include: What Does Being Present Really Mean Again?; Judgments, Distinctions, Evaluations; as well as Silence and Acceptance. The 76 page hardcover book is bound with linen, and has a gold-foil stamped cover. It's intended for those with no prior experience in meditation or other practices as well as a reference for those with an established practice.

Excerpt:

"We are sometimes asked to refrain from at least unnecessary speech, indulging in public media, and so on. This can create space in us for something else.

"If we are fortunate, this 'something else' may be true silence, the kind of silence that is empty of everything we do not really need. No unnecessary thoughts, we are fully present, life presents itself and we are free to respond. There is silence and emptiness, yet nothing is missing."

--Frank Sheldon, except of "Silence and Acceptance," from Becoming a Witness to Your Own Experience
